Renowned Top of the World Restaurant at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower Unveils Seasonal Dishes and Drinks

LAS VEGAS – Dec. 9, 2024 – The award-winning Top of the World, located more than 800 feet above the Las Vegas Strip atop The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, has unveiled a selection of elevated appetizers, steaks, steakhouse sides, desserts and hand-crafted cocktails showcasing seasonal flavors and ingredients.

Created by Executive Chef Chad Castanino, Top of the World steakhouse’s new starters capture the essence of the season, with highlights including wild mushroom soup with sour cream, fresh herbs and toasted focaccia, priced at $19; shaved Brussels Sprouts salad made with Tuscan kale, fennel, dried cranberries, toasted pine nuts, Grana Padano cheese and served with tahini and mustard dressing, priced at $19; as well as coastal dishes like chilled Pacific shrimp and lump crab served with horseradish cocktail sauce, spicy remoulade and lemon, priced at $30; and lump crab and grilled artichoke dip served with a side of grilled garlic naan bread, priced at $24. 

The seasonal menu features a variety of new entrées for guests to indulge including a new grill cut, a 12-ounce flat iron steak from Creekstone Farm, Kansas, available for $65. Additional entrée options include Duroc pork chop Milanese served with preserved tomato chutney, wild arugula and parmesan cheese, priced at $64; the crab and scallop stuffed sole made with corn-habanero cream, acini di pepe pasta and lemon beurre blanc, priced at $56; roasted Mary's chicken served with spiced sweet yam and coconut-ginger jus, priced at $50; and an elevated classic rack of lamb served with a side of root vegetable hash and lamb jus, priced at $68. 

To accompany the mouthwatering new entrées, the menu also includes various new sides including sake and soy mushrooms with crispy leeks and fried garlic, available for $17; baked potato served with sour cream, sharp cheddar cheese and smoked bacon, priced at $16; and spinach au gratin served with buttered breadcrumbs and smoked bacon jam, priced at $17.

Guests can indulge in one of the iconic restaurant’s signature desserts, such as the Warm Butter Cake for Two, accompanied by vanilla bean ice cream and seasonal berries, priced at $19; Pear and Caramel Mousse with caramelized pears, caramel cinnamon mousse, spiced almond sponge cake and tuile cookie, priced at $17; and Raspberry Molten Cake, a rich chocolate cake with chocolate raspberry center, served with fresh raspberries and raspberry ice cream, priced at $17. 

To complement the new dishes, the Top of the World steakhouse will introduce four new cocktails. Dane’s Daiquiri will be made with Bacardi Gran Reserva Diez Extra Rare Gold Rum, Chinola Mango liqueur, lime and Sugar Cane Dane Maui falernum; and a Carajillo which will combine Casamigos Reposado Tequila, Licor 43 crème brûlée liqueur and espresso; each priced at $19. The Pistachio Sour will feature a combination of Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Disaronno Amaretto Liqueur, lemon, pistachio and aquafaba; while Fernet About It will be made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Dorda Chocolate Liqueur and Fernet Branca; each priced at $18.

Located more than 800 feet above Las Vegas in The STRAT Tower, the award-winning Top of the World steakhouse features an elegant dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of the city as the restaurant revolves 360 degrees every 80 minutes.
