Ring in the New Year on Cloud Nine at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod

LAS VEGAS – Dec. 12, 2022 – End 2022 on a sky-high note at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod with special food and beverage offerings beginning Monday, Dec. 26 and a countdown party in the SkyPod with a fireworks show and panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Top of the World, The STRAT’s iconic rotating restaurant 1,149 feet above the Las Vegas Strip, will offer its signature à la carte menu for early diners with a minimum purchase of $155 per person from 3:45 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31. Beginning at 9:45 p.m., a featured prix fixe menu will be available with prices starting at $371 per person, including a cold-smoked scallop amuse-bouche; fried oysters with an ibérico ham crumble, watercress cream and balsamic pearls; truffled wild mushroom velouté with crispy braised pork cheek; king crab and avocado salad, drizzled with apple ginger “caramel” and champagne vinaigrette; the choice of either a cocoa and red wine-braised short rib with colossal blackened shrimp and smoked cheddar grits, or boudin-stuffed quail, plated with wilted greens, wild mushrooms and Cajun-style remoulade; and a reimagined kir royale for dessert, crafted with raspberry champagne mousse, raspberry gelee, vanilla bean mousse and chocolate cake. 

Top of the World’s vegan prix fixe menu,  available upon pre-request, includes a smoked jackfruit amuse with a pickled seaweed salad, whipped coconut and chile threads; tempura oyster mushrooms paired with spicy hummus; cucumber gazpacho with a pickled tomato and red onion salad and micro herbs; roasted vegetable ratatouille, made with arrabiata sauce and basil breadcrumbs; eggplant rollatini, crafted with lemon and herb wild rice, roasted garlic baba ghanoush and lemon oil; and a reimagined Kir Royale for dessert, prepared with raspberry champagne mousse, raspberry gelée, vanilla bean mousse and moist chocolate cake. 

In addition, a three-course, prix fixe New Year’s feast will be offered at McCall’s Heartland Grill, priced at $75 per person and available Friday, Dec. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 31. Menu selections will include an arugula salad, tossed with candied pecans, red onion, shaved parmesan, orange segments, pomegranate and kiwi vinaigrette; an eight-ounce filet mignon served with seared foie gras, lobster tail, buttermilk mashed potatoes and sautéed garlic asparagus; and caramel crémeux for dessert, crafted with mango gelée and financier.

STRAT Café will offer a festive dish, available Friday, Dec. 30 through Sunday, Jan. 1, featuring a petite filet of beef with red wine reduction and Atlantic salmon, topped with beurre blanc and mashed potatoes, baby carrots and asparagus, priced at $59.

A New Year’s Eve party will be held in The STRAT’s indoor SkyPod on Saturday, Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. To kick off the celebration, The STRAT will offer festive party hats and favors, plus live performances from DJ Sally and DJ Rectangle throughout the evening. Signature food and beverage selections will be available for purchase at 108 Eats, as well as featured cocktails at 108 Drinks, including Je Ne Sais Quoi, made with champagne, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur and thyme; and Savoir Faire, crafted with champagne, Grand Marnier and pomegranate juice, priced at $22 each. In addition to extravagant, panoramic views of fireworks throughout the Las Vegas Valley, The STRAT will provide its own firework display, capturing a picturesque setting to ring in the new year. Priced at $150 per person, tickets are available at The STRAT’s box office or online.

Guests can also celebrate New Year’s Eve at REMIX Lounge, which will feature live entertainment from Dr. Rock from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and DJ Santos from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The STRAT will offer gaming promotions throughout the casino floor for True Rewards members. The New Year’s Eve “Pick-A-Prize” kiosk game will take place from Friday, Dec. 30 through Sunday, Jan 1; and the New Year’s Eve table game gift bonus will run from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Kicking off the new year on National Bloody Mary Day, Jan. 1, PT’s Wings & Sports and View Lounge will serve the “Towering Mary,” made with Absolut Citron Vodka and house-made bloody mary mix with pepperoni, cheddar cheese, bacon, a chicken wing and an olive placed on skewers, priced at $21. Additionally, McCall’s Heartland Grill will offer all-you-can-drink bloody marys and mimosas from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., priced at $19.99 per person.

McCall’s Heartland Grill will also offer a “New Year’s Day Jazz Brunch” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, featuring live jazz music from The Yacht Club and a buffet-style brunch. Priced at $29.99 per person, the brunch will include an omelet station; applewood smoked bacon; crispy breakfast potatoes; pecan smoked salmon; blackened chicken pasta; chipotle glazed turkey; muffins; and an assortment of desserts, among others.
