LAS VEGAS – (Jan. 22, 2021) – The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod will take love to new heights with a whimsical proposal package in the clouds, plus a three-course dinner menu at Top of The World on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, Feb. 14.
Named “most romantic restaurant” by USA Today and Thrillist, Top of the World will offer a three-course prix fixe menu including an oyster amuse served with caviar. The first course will include a choice of a colorful, roasted beet salad, served with red, yellow and candy cane beets, citrus and peppercorn goat cheese, topped with a grapefruit vinaigrette and candied pecans; or smoked beef cheeks, prepared with a golden potato gnocchi, herb ricotta cream, ají Amarillo romesco and red wine braised mushrooms; a shared second course of beef wellington, beef tenderloin prepared with brandy and parmesan spinach, prosciutto, puff pastry and choron sauce, served with a side of shallot and herb confit peewee potatoes; as well as brown butter apple blondies for dessert, priced at $220 for two. Selections will also be available as a la carte and wine pairings are available for recommendation.
Just in time for lovers preparing to pop the question, The STRAT has introduced a “Proposal in the Sky” package, which includes scene-setting views from 800-feet above the Las Vegas Valley on The STRAT’s SkyPod level 112 private balcony. Priced at $475, the package includes 30 minutes on the private balcony, a personal butler, a bottle of house champagne, a single long stem rose, two chocolate covered strawberries and a professional photographer to capture the moment. In celebration of both Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year, REMIX Lounge, located on The STRAT’s casino floor, will offer the cocktail “Love,” a champagne cocktail made with ginger liqueur and simple syrup, garnished with a cherry and lemon twist. Partakers will be encouraged to top off each other’s glass of champagne as customary and in honor of Chinese culture. In honor of Chinese New Year and in celebration of The STRAT’s new High Limit Room there will be a tradition lion dance taking place at the front entrance of The STRAT beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 14.
