The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod to Host Rockin’ Fourth of July Weekend with Sammy Hagar, Giveaways, Special Dishes at Top of the World and More

LAS VEGAS – June 21, 2022 – The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod will celebrate Fourth of July weekend with Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ residency, “Sammy Hagar & Friends,” on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2. Plus, giveaways, featured dishes, poolside beverage specials and more will be offered, beginning Friday, July 1. 
 
Hagar will be joined by his classic band, The Wabos – featuring guitar virtuoso Vic Johnson, drummer David Lauser and bassist Mona Gnader, and promises to lean heavy on the Red Rocker’s early catalog of hits. Fans will take in the experience of a lifetime seeing the iconic artist perform in the intimate, 900-seat STRAT Theater. Fans can look forward to hearing Hagar play some of his greatest hits, which include some of the most iconic rock anthems ever written, including “I Can’t Drive 55,” “There's Only One Way to Rock,” “Right Now,” “Heavy Metal,” “Mas Tequila” and “Why Can’t This Be Love,” among others.
 
The rockin’ weekend will continue with complimentary samples of Hagar’s Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co.’s sparkling rum cocktails, available at REMIX Lounge, View Lounge and 108 Drinks on Friday, July 1 from 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, July 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.; and Monday, July 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. The canned cocktails are available in four playful twists on classic flavors, including Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Splash, Island Pop and Cherry Kola Chill. Koozies, lip balm and T-shirts will also be given away, while supplies last. 
 
Top of the World, The STRAT’s 360-degree rotating restaurant, will offer a specialty menu, beginning Friday, July 1 through Monday, July 4. Featured selections include a watermelon and feta salad, made with watermelon, shaved feta cheese, shaved red onion, mint vinaigrette and balsamic reduction; low and slow beef rib, braised, dry rubbed and smoked with whiskey molasses glaze, served with whole grain mustard potatoes with bacon; and “The All American,” a vanilla sponge cake with cherry chocolate chip ice cream and toasted meringue. 
 
Poolside beer specials on Budweiser, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra will also be available at WET24 Pool & Bar and Elation Pool, Café & Bar on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2. There will also be volleyball and cornhole tournaments at Elation; and live DJs at WET24 on Friday, July 1 through Sunday, July 3. 
 
Additionally, a Fourth of July weekend scratch card kiosk game will take place, beginning Friday, July 1 through Monday, July 4. True Rewards members that earn 250 base points while playing reels, video reels, video poker and electronic keno machines will receive an entry. Every entry will be guaranteed to win up to $5,000 in slot play.
