The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod Announces Skylar Dice as Vice President and Assistant General Manager

LAS VEGAS – April 11, 2022 – Gaming industry veteran, Skylar Dice, brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to his new role as vice president and assistant general manager of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod, Golden Entertainment, Inc.’s flagship property.
 
Dice joined Golden Entertainment in 2015 and has been promoted following his previous role with the company as vice president and general manager of Rocky Gap Resort, a AAA Four Diamond Hotel in Flintstone, Maryland. In his new position, Dice oversees gaming operations, marketing and player development at The STRAT.

Dice honed his management skills and hospitality and gaming expertise through leadership positions at several state and tribal gaming jurisdictions across the country, including hotels and casinos in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Michigan and California. Studying business management, Dice received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
 
Passionate about giving back to his community, Dice has been involved with several non-profit boards in Maryland, including Friends Aware, an organization creating social, occupational and residential opportunities to individuals with developmental disabilities; and the Cumberland Economic Development Committee, dedicated to improving the city of Cumberland. He has also served on the Allegany County Board of Directors in Maryland. Dice is passionate about his dedication to philanthropic efforts and looks forward to also serving the Las Vegas community.
