The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod Announces Robert Polk as Vice President of Player Development

LAS VEGAS – Oct. 12, 2022 – Casino industry veteran, Robert Polk, brings 20 years of experience to his new role as vice president of player development at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod, Golden Entertainment, Inc.’s flagship property.
 
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Polk honed his gaming and hospitality expertise through various roles in multiple jurisdictions across the country. He has proven success at high-end casinos, including MGM Grand Detroit, Horseshoe Southern Indiana, and The M Resort Casino in Las Vegas, among others, and will now oversee player development at The STRAT. Polk holds degrees in both business administration and biblical studies.

Passionate about giving back to his community, Polk has been involved with several non-profit organizations, including the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation, WaterStep, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and Metro United Way. He has also served on Louisville, Kentucky’s Strategic and Social Planning Committee and the Advisory Panel for the Ohio Department of Education’s MBA research. Additionally, Polk has been awarded with a Diversity Warriorship Award and named “Chairman’s Club Member” for community service. Polk currently serves on a church planting team at Oasis Church of North Las Vegas and is eager to continue his philanthropic efforts by joining the many community outreach programs Golden Entertainment provides through the ICARE program.
